The UxV/35 Work Group is an official committee within the RMS Consortium, currently in the final stages of developing the UxV/35 technical standard. Consortium members are invited to join the group and participate as active contributors during this important phase of review and refinement.
By joining now, members can provide input, share expertise, and help shape the final draft of the UxV/35 standard before it is presented for formal vote and adoption by the Consortium.
To participate or learn more about the group’s activities, please send an email to info@rmsconsortium.org.
Stack. Scale. Deploy.
UAVs, UGVs, and USVs consist of multi-disciplinary components, such as electronic modules, wiring harnesses, and structural members. The UxV/35 Standard provides a modular assembly approach for uncrewed systems that minimizes wiring and increases the success rate and speed of assembly.
UxV/35 boards snap together into “stacks” through pin connectors. Components can also be used in a planar configuration; these platforms spread out the stack into a flatter format. The precision design of the connecting pins between stacked boards ensures rapid assembly and reliable performance.
The assembly process involves:
Unpacking a set of UxV/35 compatible boards.
Stacking them as needed.
Configuring their software.
After installing the batteries, the unmanned craft can operate within minutes.
