Active Work Groups

These technical work groups are involved in current specification development. Participation is available to Executive and Associate members through formal application. Contact info@rmsconsortium.org for more information about participation.

  • A collaborative work group advancing the UxV/35 standard, enabling modular, snap-together assembly for uncrewed systems. It reduces wiring, speeds integration, and ensures reliable performance across UAV, UGV, and USV applications. This work group produced the UxV/35 Standard 1.0 which was formally adopted in 2026.

  • A forward-looking work group driving development of a new stackable specification, delivering higher bandwidth and greater performance while preserving PC104’s proven modular approach, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and relevance for next-generation embedded computing applications.

  • A dedicated work group that preserves and updates existing, foundational PC104 standards, ensuring long-term compatibility, technical accuracy, and continued support for existing products while aligning with the Consortium’s evolving specifications and industry needs.
